The #23 Purdue Northwest ACHA DI Hockey team earned two thrilling wins in Top 25 action against #24 Concordia (Mich.) winning 5-3 on Friday night and winning in a thrilling shootout, 7-6, on Saturday evening.

- Freshman Andrew Remer (Lake Orion, Mich.) led Purdue Northwest with two goals and one assist.
- Freshman Noah Murphy (Faribault, Minn.), freshman Hayden Masloski, and freshman Carter Hobbs (Des Moines, Iowa) each notched a goal.
- Freshman Cooper Olson (Maple Grove, Minn.) played all 60 minutes in goal for the Pride and recorded 27 saves.

- Freshman Patrick Hayes led Purdue Northwest scoring two goals and dishing out two assists.
- Remer added two goals again and one assist.
- Junior Craig Herman (Bloomington, Minn./Bloomington Kennedy HS) and Hobbs chipped in two assists during the game.
- Olson played all 65 minutes of regulation and overtime, including the shootout for the Pride. He made a total of 39 saves.
- Six players scored a goal each for Concordia.
- Janis played all 65 minutes and the shootout for the Cardinals. He recorded a total of 38 stops.
The Breakdown
- Both teams scored a goal each in the first period and went into the second period tied 1-1.
- The Cardinals scored three goals in the second period to Purdue Northwest's one to take a commanding 4-2 lead into the third.
- In the third period, the Pride came back vigorously and scored three goals in 90 seconds to take a 5-4 lead.
- Concordia did not give in scoring two straight goals to regain the lead, 6-5, with less then seven minutes remaining in regulation.
- The Pride netted a power play with two minutes left to tie it up 6-6 heading into overtime.
- Both teams were not able to score a goal in overtime and headed into a shootout.
- During the shootout, the first three skaters for each team were not able to convert.
- Concordia sent out Bieneck for the fourth try and was not able to score. Herman was sent out for the Pride and he drilled his shot give Purdue Northwest the win, 7-6.
