The Purdue Northwest women's basketball team fell at the buzzer on the road against Hillsdale at Friday evening, 61-59.

- Junior Dash Shaw (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) led Purdue Northwest with 15 points going 7-of-16 from the field, grabbed five rebounds, and dished out three assists.
- Junior Tadriana Heard and junior Mercedes Simmons (Crystal Falls, Mich./Forest Park) each scored 12 points during the game.
- Sophomore Antreese Shelton (Elkhart, Ind./Penn) chipped in five points.
- The Pride finished the game shooting 25-of-66 (37.9%) from the floor and went 2-of-12 (16.7%) from the three-point line.
- Caitlin Splain led Hillsdale with a game-high 19 points and went 7-of-15 from the floor.
- The Chargers ended the contest going 25-of-56 (44.6%) and shot 4-of-14 (28.6%) from behind the arc.
The Breakdown
- Hillsdales took control of the start of the game taking a 17-8 lead after the first quarter.
- Down 22-12 in the second quarter, the Pride went on a 14-6 run to cut their deficit to two down 28-26 with a minute and a half remaining in the half.
- Hillsdale headed into halftime with a slight 33-29 lead after Purdue Northwest's comeback.
- Both teams continued to battle in the third quarter with both teams taking and regaining the lead and headed into the fourth quarter Hillsdale only up 48-47.
- With the game tied 59-59 and six seconds left, Hillsdale inbounded the ball and saw Sydney Mills knock down a floater with one second left to seal the win for the Chargers, 61-59.
- The Pride took advantage of the turnovers and scored 12 points to Hillsdales six.
- Purdue Northwest held a slight advantage in points in the paint, 32-30.
