The Purdue Northwest women's soccer team celebrated Senior Day on Sunday afternoon in a hard-fought battle against Saginaw Valley State in GLIAC play, 2-1.

- Junior Lauryn Tillmon (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North HS) led Purdue Northwest with one goal on one shot.
- Sophomore Emma Carter (Plainfield, Ill./Timothy Christian HS), junior Rozlyn Mehall (Grosse Ile, Mich./Grosse Ile HS), and senior Kaci Pampreen (Livonia, Mich./Churchill HS) all added one shot during the game.
- Freshman Yoselin Garcia (Joliet, Ill.) dished out the lone assist for the team.
- Junior Ashley Lovins (Huntley, Ill./Huntley HS) played all 90 minutes in net for the Pride and notched two saves.
- Riley Garbarz and Taylor Jensen each led Saginaw Valley State with one goal.
- Lainey Garbarz played all 90 minutes in goal for the Cardinals and made one save.
The Breakdown
- Saginaw Valley State started the scoring in the 23rd minute off a Garbarz goal to take a 1-0 lead.
- The Cardinals netted their second goal of the first half in the 32nd minute off a Taylor goal to increase their lead 2-0.
- The Pride got on the board in the 42nd to cut the deficit 2-1 off a header from Tillmon.
- Both teams battled back-and-forth in the second half and saw the Cardinals hold on to the 2-1 victory.
