The short story: A second-half goal lifted Northern Michigan past Purdue Northwest Friday afternoon in Marquette, Mich., which snapped the Pride's win streak at three.

• PNW suffered its first loss in conference play following the setback. The Pride are 2-1-0 as they prepare for Sunday's road match at Parkside.
• The Pride were held scoreless for the first time this season. It was only the second time in six games the Pride didn't score at least two goals.
