INDIANAPOLIS – Purdue Northwest women's tennis featured a pair of its Doubles teams in the final consolation rounds Sunday at the 2021 Division II Women's Midwest ITA Regional Championships.

Sienna Lopez and Oona Kintscher defeated Southwest Baptist's Lola Cincunegui and Elsa Pascual in the quarterfinals of the Doubles A backdraw. The PNW duo advanced to take on Grand Valley State's Marija Leko and Marily Canellopolous, where the Pride came up just short in a close match, 8-6.

Then, Patricia Dizon and Nicole Uzcategui advanced to the Final in the Doubles B Main Draw, after the PNW duo pulled out an 8-6 win over Davenport's Isabella Carafano and Kumiko Yamaguchi. Another close match saw Dizon and Uzcategui fall by two points, 8-6, in the Final against Vasileia Griva and Estefania Hernandez from GVSU.
