The short story: Haneen Abdulla's goal in the 58th minute gave Purdue Northwest its first victory of the season to close out non-conference play.

- PNW has scored a goal in four consecutive games for the first time during the school's NCAA DII era. The last time the Pride recorded a goal in four straight contests happened in 2016 (7 straight).
- Abdulla is the sixth different PNW player to record a goal this season. It was her first tally of the year and second of her career.
- Sydney Hanson provided the assist on the goal in Saturday's win over Lake Erie. Hanson now has a personal single-season career high two assists after recording one in the previous game against Roosevelt.
- PNW registered a clean sheet for the first time since Oct. 27, 2019 in a 1-0 home win against Parkside (Wis.).
- Bridget Grady made the start and recorded two saves in the first half. The junior keeper leads PNW with 11 saves on the year.
- Freshman Grace Mumaugh played the second half in goal and recorded four saves to keep the shutout intact.
- The Pride out-shot the Storm 11-9 overall, but the visitors held a 6-3 advantage in shots on goal.
UP NEXT
The Pride will open conference play next week with a pair of home games against Northwood (Friday) and Ferris State (Sunday).
