HAMMOND, Ind. – Purdue Northwest suffered its first loss of the spring in a 1-0 defeat to Northern Michigan Sunday at Dowling Park.
PNW (3-1-0) outshot Northern Michigan (2-2-0) in the contest, 9-8, while both teams put three shots on frame. However, it was the Wildcats' Niko Scheiball who found the back of the net in the 55th minute for the game-winner.

Christian Booth each recorded a shot on goal. Nieves led the Pride with six of the team's nine total shots.

PNW travels to Wisconsin-Parkside for a noon match on Saturday, April 3. The Pride will return home to host the final two regular season matches on Sunday, April 11 and Sunday, April 18.
