PNW dropped to 2-6 on the season and 0-3 in conference play, while GVSU goes to 7-1 and 2-1 in conference play.

How it happened: PNW started the first quarter strong until a post-timeout 8-0 run by GVSU gave the Lakers a lead that they wouldn't give up for the rest of the game.
Dash Shaw (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) gave the Lakers all they could handle with 20 points, including scoring the first nine points for the Pride to open the third quarter.
PNW fought until the very end, outscoring the Lakers for most of the fourth quarter due in large part to their 2-3 defense.
GVSU had five players get to double-digits with three scoring 14 (Droste, Risballe, Spitzley).
PNW played aggressive all night, generating 22 free throw attempts and drawing 20 fouls.
