The short story:Â Purdue Northwest women's soccer fell 2-0 at Saginaw Valley State in the season finale for the Pride Sunday afternoon.

After limiting SVSU to a goal in the previous meeting, PNW matched up well against Cardinals again and held the hosts scoreless until SVSU's Sarah Frederick broke the 0-0 tie in the 62nd minute.

SVSU would tack on an insurance goal in the 83rd minute.

A tale of two halves saw PNW out-shoot SVSU 2-1 in shots on goal during the first half, but the second period turned in the Cardinals' favor. SVSU would post a 9-0 advantage in shots on target.
