Box Score HAMMOND, Ind. — The Purdue Northwest D2 hockey team fell 5-3 to Marquette Friday night at The Kube.
PNW (8-7) had its four-game win streak snapped following the loss. The Pride surrendered a pair of late goals, including an empty-netter, after tying the game early in the third period.
Kevin Pietrucha netted the equalizer to make it 3-3, but Marquette countered with a two-on-one breakaway goal to move back ahead for good.
