The Purdue Northwest men's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision to Davenport in Thursday's regular-season finale.

Following the loss, PNW will be seeded fourth in next week's GLIAC Tournament. The Pride (8-8-1, 7-6-1 GLIAC) are set to host the quarterfinal match against fifth-seeded Upper Iowa. It'll be PNW's fourth trip to the league tournament in five years.

Davenport earned a share of the GLIAC regular season championship as it tied Parkside atop the final league standings.

DU's Justice Sikkema put the visitors ahead 1-0 at halftime after breaking the scoreless match in the 22nd minute. The Panthers tacked on two more goals in the second half from Evan Marquess and Matt Whelan.

PNW was led by Isaiah Nieves who placed two shots on frame, including one that found the back of the net in the 81st minute. The Pride were outpaced by the Panthers 9-5 in total shots on target.

For Nieves, it was his sixth goal as he wraps the regular season with a team-high 22 points in 17 matches. The senior midfielder broke the program's all-time combined career (56) for points

Junior Sam Sandoval recorded fives after making his season debut at goalkeeper in the second half.
