Box Score HAMMOND, Ind. – The Purdue University Northwest D2 men's ice hockey team fell 9-4 to Concordia University Wisconsin Friday night at The Kube.
PNW trailed 2-1 after the first period and CUW remained out in front 4-2 moving to the second intermission. The Falcons took advantage of a power play in the third to extend its lead to five and remained out in front the rest of the night.
Josh Hall scored the first goal of the night for the Pride at the 7:07 mark in the first, which tied the game at 1-1.
The second goal came in the 14th minute of the second period when
Sam Bourdages cleaned up a rebound off a missed shot attempt.
Craig Herman recorded the third goal of the night with just over eight minutes remaining in the game.
Xavier Emslander buried the final Pride goal near the end of regulation.
UP NEXT
PNW will travel to Mequon, Wis. for the second game of the weekend series against CUW. Puck drop is set for 4 p.m. in the conference matchup.
