PNW Women's Basketball to host Roosevelt in home opener

HAMMOND, Ind. – The Purdue Northwest women's basketball team will host Roosevelt University (IL) in its home opener on Thursday, Nov. 18, inside the Hammond Campus Fitness & Recreation Center. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. CST for the non-conference matchup between the Pride and Lakers.

Digital tickets can easily be purchased at PNWathletics.com/tickets or by downloading the HomeTown Fan App. Season passes, featuring a family pack, are available for women's and men's basketball home games at the link above. Single-game tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 4-17 (processing fees apply). PNW students attend all home games for free by displaying a valid PNW student ID card.
 
HOW TO WATCH
The game will be streamed live on the PNW Athletics Channel available through JEDtv.com. Viewing rates are $10 per game, $100 for a season pass, or $180 for a combined season pass to view all PNW women's and men's basketball home games (processing fees apply). LAST TIME OUT
PNW went 1-1 at the Midwest Region Crossover in Lebanon, Ill. last weekend. The Pride bounced back with a dominant 84-61 victory over McKendree, after a four-point loss, 61-57, in the season opener against Illinois-Springfield. Junior guards Anjel Galbraith and Savaya Brockington led the way. Galbraith averaged 18.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists, while Brockington put up 14.5 points, 5.5 boards and 3.5 assists. Sophomore guard Dash Shaw led the Pride with 22 points in the win over UIS.
 
PNW IN HOME OPENERS
PNW holds an all-time record of 2-3 in home openers with the most recent victory coming in head coach Courtney Locke's home debut two years ago against Lincoln College (92-68).
 
SERIES HISTORY
Thursday night will mark the 11th meeting between the former Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) foes. PNW has won four straight matchups over Roosevelt and the Pride hold the all-time series lead, 7-3. The Lakers most recent victory in the series came when they swept the 2012-13 season series with three wins over the Pride.
