UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Purdue Northwest women's cross country team finished ninth with 262 points Saturday at the 2021 GLIAC Cross Country Championships.
Christina Shaginaw paced the Pride at a 6:32 clip and overall time of 24:21.8. She finished 37th in the 6K race.
Holly Shaginaw was the second PNW runner to cross the finish line in 64th place (25:08.6). Rounding out the Pride scoring lineup were
Morgan Bartlett (72nd),
Megan Teitge (82nd) and
Peyton Westphal (96th).
Grand Valley State (15 pts) claimed the team title with the top seven individual finishers. The Lakers' Hannah Becker won the event with a total time of 22:04.3.
Saginaw Valley State (63) took second place followed by Wayne State (97), Michigan Tech (109) and Northern Michigan (130) in the top five.
