Pride place 29th in Louisville Classic 5K

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Purdue University Northwest women's cross country team finished 29th out of 55 teams at the Louisville Cross Country Classic 5K, hosted Saturday at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park.
 
PNW posted a total time of 1:42:16.7 and team score of 806. The Pride were led by junior Christina Shaginaw, who finished 31st among the field of nearly 500 runners. She produced a final time of 19:03.4.
 
Grand Valley State won the team title with a meet-low team score of 94. The Lakers had four runners finish among the top 25. Marshall's Abby Herring won the 5K race with a time of 17:45.7.
