The short story: A late Parkside goal broke a 1-1 tie and carried the Rangers past Purdue Northwest Friday afternoon at Dowling Park.
 
QUICK FACTS
  • Junior midfielder Braidy Ceh (Huntley, Ill.) scored her first collegiate goal in the 50th minute, which tied the game at 1-1.
  • Senior forward Kiana Chandler (Lowell, Ind.) was credited with the assist – her first of the season.
  • Chandler led the Pride with three shots on goal while senior defender Reannah Soto (Merrillville, Ind.) recorded a pair of shots on frame.
  • PNW held a 9-6 advantage in overall shots and tallied eight shots on target.
  • Parkside totaled five shots on target as PNW goalkeeper Ashley Lovins (Huntley, Ill.) recorded three saves.
  • Lovins made a diving stop on a penalty kick with three minutes left in the match.
  • Soto, Lovins, Baylee Byford (Scipio, Ind.), Amanda Logan (Tinley Park, Ill.), Anika Berg (Schererville, Ind.) and Sydney Hanson (Alma, Mich.) each played the entire match.
