Sydney Hanson (Alma, Mich./Alma) scored her team-leading third goal of the season in the 85th minute to tie the game at 1 apiece, but the Rangers' Michelle Benitez put the game-winner past
Bridget Grady (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) in overtime to defeat the Pride 2-1.
PNW recorded 11 shots, including four on goal, during the contest. Midfielder
Brinley Hefty (Belvidere, Ill./Belvidere North) led the offensive attack with two shots, one on goal, and got the assist on Hanson's goal.
Kiana Chandler (Lowell, Ind./Lowell) and
Alexa Vega (West Chicago, Ill./Community) put up the other two shots on goal for the Pride.
Grady made five saves in her over 51 minutes minding the PNW net after relieving
Leonie Heck (Rösrath, Germany/Albertus Magnus). Heck made five saves herself, as she played the duration of the first half.
