HAMMOND, Ind. - -Â The Purdue Northwest Women's Basketball team is returning home on Saturday to host the Illinois-Springfield Prairie Stars to begin PNW Kids Day, sponsored by Nipsco. Tipoff at the Hammond Fitness and Recreational Center is set for 1 p.m. (CT).

The Pride are currently 1-4, last seen falling 56-52 in a tough loss at Governors State on November 20.
Shae Rhonehouse (Fremont, Ind./Fremont) played 19 minutes and scored a team-high 12 points on 5-7 shooting for her first game this season scoring in double figures. Other statistical leaders included
Danielle Nennig (Wrightstown, Wis./Wrightstown), who grabbed a team-high six rebounds and scored nine points on 4-6 shooting.
Kennedy Jackson (Carson, Cal./Redondo Union) had a balanced game herself, as she recorded a team-high four assists, scored four points on 1-1 shooting from the field and 2-2 from the free-throw line, and collected four rebounds in her 28 minutes of action. Â Â
As a team, PNW is averaging 58.8 points per game so far this season and is led by two individuals averaging double-figures in scoring per game.Â
Molly Devalkenaere (Milwaukee, Wis./Brookfield)Â leads the Pride with 10.7 points per game.
Savaya Brockington (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central)Â is averaging 10.4 points, 4.6 assists and 4.2 rebounds a game. Brockington and
Anjel Galbraith (Vallejo, Cal./Salesian College Prep) lead the team with 165 minutes logged while Galbraith is recording 9.4 points, 2.4 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.Â
