HAMMOND, Ind. - - The Purdue Northwest Women's Basketball team hosted the Missouri-St Louis Tritons on Friday evening.
Savaya Brockington (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central) hit a three-pointer with 3:05 remaining in the third quarter to tie the score at 42, but an 11-0 Tritons run directly after Brockington tied the game proved to be the difference as UMSL defeated PNW 62-52 on
John Friend Court at the Fitness and Recreation Center in Hammond.
"We just had too many mistakes," Head Coach
Courtney Locke said. "We made a great run into the second quarter to get it tied, and that's when the missed shots and mistakes kicked in. The game is about runs and we have to be better managing runs and knowing."

Anjel Galbraith (Vallejo, Cal./Salesian College Prep) recorded nine points, four assists, four rebounds and one steal in her 32:52 minutes on the floor.
