ALLENDALE, Mich. - - The Purdue Northwest Women's Soccer team continued their road trip on Sunday, October 13th, as they took on the Grand Valley State University Lakers in Allendale, Michigan. The match was a stalemate in the first half with neither team's offense able to get the upper hand. A lopsided second half opened the scoring and game for the Lakers as they went on to win this conference matchup, 6-0.

The Lakers put up 19 shots in the first half and Pride Goalkeeper
Bridget Grady (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) collected seven saves. Grady made three saves in the second half before being relieved by
Leonie Heck (Rösrath, Germany/Albertus Magnus) in the 76th minute.
PNW Women's Soccer has two more stops on their current series on the road before returning home. The Pride will take on the Northwood Timberwolves on October 18th in Midland, Michigan and the Ferris State Bulldogs on October 20th in Big Rapids, Michigan.
