Emily joined the Lions as an assistant athletic trainer in August of 2026. She came to Hammond after previously working with Midwest Orthopaedics at RUSH as an orthopaedic technologist physician extender.
She is a nationally certified athletic trainer through the BOC and is licensed in Indiana since 2015. Emily is also an Orthopedic Technologist through the NBCOT. She is certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid as well as holding a performance enhancement specialization and Graston M1 technique certification.
Previously, Emily worked in Brooklyn, New York at Pratt Institute of Technology and with the former National Women’s Hockey League. Locally she has experience with multiple outpatient settings including concussion clinic and orthopaedic urgent care.
A native of Indiana, Emily earned her Bachelor of Athletic Training from Indiana State University in May of 2015. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Exercise Science from Long Island University Brooklyn in May of 2017.
