Destiny joined the Lions as an athletic trainer in August 2026. She came to Hammond after completing a variety of clinical experiences across collegiate athletics, pediatric orthopedics, and physical therapy. Most recently, she worked with Hampton University Football, where she provided athletic training services for a Division I football program.Â
She holds certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, and is a Board-Certified Athletic Trainer. Destiny is licensed in the state of Indiana. She has been a NATA member since 2025.
During her graduate education, Destiny gained experience across multiple sports and healthcare settings. Her clinical experiences include Indiana University Football, Hampton University Football, Old Dominion University Football, Orthopedics, urgent care, as well as high school athletics. She also conducted and presented concussion research in Division I athletes.Â
Destiny earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Indiana University Bloomington. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Old Dominion University in May 2026.
