Claire joined the Lions as an athletic trainer in August 2025. She came to Hammond after previously completing her final internship with PNW's Softball and Men's D1 and D2 Hockey teams.
She holds certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, and from the BOC. Claire is licensed in Indiana and Illinois and has been a NATA member since 2025.
She is also an athletic trainer for the Kane County Cougars in Geneva, IL where she won back-to-back championships with the team in 2024 and 2025.
A native of Indiana, Claire earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Concordia University Chicago in May of 2022, as well as competing on the softball and track and field teams for the Cougars in 2018-2022. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Athletic Training from North Central College in May of 2025 where she spent time working with the women's volleyball team, women's wrestling team, and men's lacrosse team as well as other high schools in the area.
