The Purdue Northwest ACHA DI Hockey team kicked off the ACHA DI National Tournament by taking on the #16 ranked Midland University where the pride would have a great start to the tournament picking up a 9-4 win.

- Hayden Masloski (Andover, Minn./) led the Pride with a big night netting two goals and notching two assists.
- Carter Hobbs (Des Moines, Iowa/) added a goal and two assists for Purdue Northwest.
- Mason Cole (Saginaw, Mich.) tallied a goal and an assist on the night.
- RJ Swaw (Orland Park, Ill./) chipped in three assists during the game.
- Cooper Olson (Maple Grove, Minn./) played 60 minutes between the pipes for the Pride recording 23 saves for the Pride
The Breakdown
- Purdue University Northwest struck first with goals from Kolin Leduc (Macomb, Mich.) and Bryce Jacobsen (DeForest, Wis./), but Midland responded with two goals from Thomas Babb to tie it 2-2.
- Purdue University Northwest took control, scoring three goals, including a power-play game-winner by Chase Solberg (Anchorage, Alaska/), to take a 5-2 lead.
- A high-scoring period saw both teams trade goals, but Purdue maintained their lead with an insurance goal from Hayden Masloski (Andover, Minn./) and an empty-netter from Noah Murphy (Faribault, Minn./), securing the win.
- In the end the Pride would be on top 9-4 securing a spot in the sweet 16.
