The Breakdown

After a scoreless opening period, Purdue Northwest took control in the second frame.
Solberg opened the scoring at 11:04 of the second period, finishing off a setup from Powell and Tok.
Solberg struck again with just 25 seconds left in the period, extending the Pride's lead to 2-0 off assists from Brodie McIntyre and Brennan Schidlowsky (Nipawin, Saskatchewan/).
Roosevelt cut the deficit early in the third at 2:38 when Timothy Pickrell scored from Joe Coglianese.
The Pride quickly regained momentum, as McIntyre found the net at 8:54 with help from Solberg and Verbetskii.
Less than two minutes later, Behrend added an insurance goal at 10:39 assisted by Topil, sealing the 4-1 result.
Roosevelt's frustrations showed late in the third with multiple penalties, including a 10-minute misconduct.
Purdue Northwest's relentless offensive pressure and balanced attack proved too much, outshooting Roosevelt by 26 and maintaining control throughout the game.
Hyde's composure in goal and the team's disciplined defensive play ensured the Pride's dominant win.
