#11 DI Hockey ends regular season with huge road win at #12 Calvin

The #11 Purdue Northwest ACHA DI Hockey ended the regular season with a huge road win at #12 Calvin on Saturday night, 6-2.

Inside The Numbers
  • Sophomore Andrew Remer (Lake Orion, Mich./) led the Pride with a goal and one assist.
  • Senior Craig Herman (Bloomington, Minn./Bloomington Kennedy HS), freshman Chase Solberg (Anchorage, Alaska), freshman RJ Swaw (Orland Park, Ill.), sophomore Carter Hobbs (Des Moines, Iowa/), and sophomore Charlie Smith (Waterdown, Ontario/) each added one goal.
  • Sophomore Michael Clough (Andover, Minn./) chipped in three assists during the game.
  • Sophomore Cooper Olson (Maple Grove, Minn./) played all 60 minutes between the pipes for the Pride and recorded 47 saves.
  • Kyle Vandusen led Calvin with two goals.
  • Carlos Siso played all 60 minutes in the net for the Knights making 25 total saves.
The Breakdown
  • The Pride scored the first and only goal in the first period to take a 1-0 lead after one.
  • The second was full of goals, Calvin scored both their goals and the Pride answered with four in the second period to take a 5-2 advantage into the third period.
  • Purdue Northwest tallied one more goal in the third period to help seal the victory for the Pride, 6-2.
