#11 ACHA DI Hockey continues win streak to 12; scores program record 18 goals vs. Oakland

The #11 Purdue Northwest ACHA DI Hockey continued thier win streak up to 12 after sweeping and shuting out Oakland this past weekend. The Pride scored a program record 18 goals in a 18-0 victory on Friday night and winning 8-0 on Saturday night.

Inside The Numbers
  • Sophomore Carter Hobbs (Des Moines, Iowa/) led the Pride with a hat-trick scoring three goals.
  • Junior Sam Bourdages (Hearst, Ontario/) notched two goals and dished out a game-high five assists.
  • Freshman Dave Anderson (Carrolton, Texas) added two goals during the game.
  • Sophomore Andrew Remer (Lake Orion, Mich./) chipped in one goal and four assists on the night.

  • Sophomore Isaac Hyde (Ft. Wayne, Ind./) played all 60 minutes in goal for the Pride and he recorded 19 saves.
  • Zomick played all 60 minutes in net for Oakland and made 50 saves.

  • The Pride lit up the first period to take a commanding 4-0 lead heading into the second.
  • Purdue Northwest added two more goals in the second to extend their lead to 6-0.
  • The Pride netted two more goals in the third period to make the final score 8-0.
  • Purdue Northwest ended the game outshooting Oakland, 58-19.
