The #20 Purdue Northwest ACHA DI Hockey opened the new 2023-24 season with a weekend home series sweep of #16 Lawrence Tech defeating the Blue Devils on Friday, 7-1, and the following day on Saturday in a hard-fought battle, 6-3.

- Junior Sam Bourdages (Hearst, Ontario/) led the Pride scoring two goals.

- Olson played all 60 minutes in goal once again for the Pride. He recorded 29 saves.
- Thimo Ey, Drake Barnish, and Liam Bland each scored a goal for Lawrence Tech.
- Tome played all 60 minutes between the pipes for the Blue Devils and recorded 19 stops.
The Breakdown
- The Pride started off the scoring in the first period with an Anderson goal six minutes in to take a 1-0 lead.
- The Blue Devils tied it up 1-1 a few minutes later in the first.
- Purdue Northwest took a 2-1 lead heading into the end of the first period after a goal from Topil.
