"We are so thrilled to partner with Bulldog Park and host several hockey games this season." said Director of Athletics Rick Costello. "The Outdoor Series gives Purdue Northwest hockey a chance to experience a winter classic atmosphere and play at a high level. We are excited to cheer on the Pride with our fans and cherish this game day experience with the city of Crown Point."
"Being a resident of Crown Point and with my kids going to school here, it is very exciting to bring college hockey to Bulldog Park," said ACHA DI Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations,
Carl Trosien. "I know Crown Point is home to a lot of PNW faculty, staff, and alums so it just makes sense. I am very excited to see this environment . Everyone has told me what a great event this is and how much fun the day is so I am just really ecstatic to do it for the first time."
"It's one of the purest forms of the game of hockey that we could play, being outdoors! Most of us grew up skating on lakes and outdoor rinks. And originally hockey games were played outdoors on lakes, rivers, ponds, etc. until about the 1920's," said ACHA DIII Head Coach
Tony Stumpf. "So, playing in the region in front of our fans kind of brings us back in time. A winter Classic!  It brings the community together. Everyone gets to share in the moment of a " Good Ole Hockey Game, " the way it was once played many years ago."
Entry to the event is
FREE for all fans.
Posters, while supplies last, will be available for autographs.
JEDtv will be streaming be streaming the games live from Bulldog Park.
