#11 ACHA DI Hockey shoots past Northern Illinois in home-and-home weekend series

The #11 Purdue Northwest ACHA DI Hockey shot past Northern Illinois in a weekend home-and-home series dominating the Huskies at home on Friday night, 14-2, and winning on the road on Saturday night, 6-1.

  • Northern Illinois scored early in the first period to take 1-0 lead but the Pride answered back with two goals to reclaim the lead, 2-1, heading into the second.
  • Purdue Northwest scored four straight goals to end the game with a 6-1 win.
