OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – Another tournament has come and gone, and Purdue Northwest's Alex Bishop (Litchfield, Ill./Litchfield) turned in another outstanding individual performance carding a 3-under 69 on Day 2 of the Music City Invitational for a 2-day total of 5-under par and a tie for fifth place.

Bishop's overall finish was just three strokes behind tournament winner Blain Turner of Trevecca Nazarene on the Par 72, 6,802-yard Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tennessee.

The day began for Bishop on Hole 7 and a birdie on the Par 4, 410-yard hole was the first of three consecutive birdies to start the day. Four pars and a bogey were quickly answered with back-to-back birdies on Holes 15 & 16. Bishop finished the tournament with 12 birdies.

Finn Kiger (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point High School) tallied a 5-over Day 2 score for a 5-over total and a tie for 45th individually. Brady Serafin (Beecher, Ill.) carded an 80 on both rounds for a total score of 16-over par and a tie in 66th position while teammate Paul Negri (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln Way West High School) (+18) finished in 68th position.

Dylan Adair (Manhattan, Ill./) equaled Serafin with an 80 on the final day of the event.

As a team, the Pride finished two strokes behind Kentucky Wesleyan in 13th position. Tiffin rode a strong Day 1 score and hung on after a late charge from Trevecca Nazarene saw the Dragons edge out the Trojans by two strokes for first place honors.
