PNW Ice Hockey finishes runner-up after OT thriller in Title Game

Box Score FOND DU LAC, Wis. — The No. 1 seed Purdue Northwest men's ice hockey team fell 5-4 in overtime to No. 2 seed UW-Oshkosh Saturday afternoon in the Northern Collegiate Hockey League conference title game.

PNW (16-15) trailed 4-3 in the third period before Brandon Prodoehl (Munster, Ind./Munster HS) scored the equalizer at the 9:50 mark. Oshkosh would eventually prevail with the game-winner at 5:50 in the overtime period and took home the Bruno Goblet.

Goals were scored by Jeremy Lochow (Homer Glen, ILL./Lockport Township HS), Sam Bourdages (Hearst, Ontario) (2) and Prodoehl. Assists on the night were credited to Jacob Toland (Oshawa, Ontario), Dan Oliszewicz (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg HS), Josh Hall (Oshawa, Ontario/J. Clarke Richardson Collegiate), Bourdages and Prodoehl (2).
