HAMMOND, Ind. – The Purdue Northwest men's ice hockey team suffered a 6-1 defeat to Marian (WI) Friday afternoon at The Kube.
PNW (1-4) trailed 1-0 until
Craig Herman tied it with a short-handed goal at the 15:32 mark in the second period. Herman (6-2-8) leads the team with six goals through five games.
Marian regained the lead on a power-play goal just before the second intermission and the visitors tacked on four more in the third period.
Curtis Campbell got the start in goal for the Pride while Alex Kruger was between the pipes for Marian.
