HAMMOND, Ind. – The Purdue University Northwest ACHA D2 hockey team will host Northern Michigan University at Bulldog Park in Crown Point, Ind. this Friday-Saturday, Dec. 10-11. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. on Friday night and 3 p.m. on Saturday. Both games are free to attend and will air live on JEDtv.com.

"On behalf of the Pride of PNW, I want to thank Mayor Uran and the City of Crown Point for their willingness to host our annual outdoor hockey series," Director of Athletics Rick Costello said. "Bulldog Park is a great facility and hockey fans will enjoy a first-class experience."

Those attending the games this weekend at Bulldog Park are encouraged to support the Hat, Glove and Sock Drive sponsored by the City of Crown Point. Additionally, there will be food trucks, fire pits and a cash bar available. Bulldog Park is located at 183 S. West St. Crown Point, IN 46307.

"The City of Crown Point is looking forward to again hosting another set of collegiate hockey games at our NHL-sized ice rink at Bulldog Park," Crown Point Mayor David Uran said. "We wish the Purdue Northwest Pride good luck as they face off against the Northern Michigan Wildcats."

PNW, which recently announced its move to the ACHA D1 level next year, has already recorded a program-record nine wins this season including three against D1 opponents. The Pride are 3-3 in conference play as this weekend's series against the Wildcats will be the final outing of the 2021 calendar year. PNW will return to action on Jan. 14, 2022, following the Holiday Break, when it hosts Marian (Wis.) at its home facility, The Kube, located in Hammond.

This week's appearance will mark PNW's second outing at Bulldog Park. The Pride previously played there when hosting University of Michigan on Nov. 9, 2019.
