Box Score ROMEOVILLE, Ill. — Craig Herman (Bloomington, Minn.) recorded a hat trick and an assist to power Purdue Northwest past Lewis 6-4 on Saturday inside the Canlan Ice Sports Arena.
With the win, PNW improved to 8-6 overall and 2-0 in conference play. The Pride have won four straight games after completing the two-game sweep over Lewis.
PNW trailed 2-1 after the first period, but responded with three goals in the second to claim a 4-3 advantage at the second intermission.
Herman scored the first two goals for the Pride while
Dan Oliszewicz (Orland Park, Ill.) and
Tyler Hoffman (Waunakee, Wis.) netted the next two goals in the second period.
Sam Bourdages (Hearst, Ontario) got in on the scoring action with the eventual game-winner in the third period, while Herman registered his third goal of the night to cap the Pride scoring.
