Men's Golf Travels to Kentucky Wesleyan Invite Sunday

HAMMOND, Ind. & WESTVILLE, Ind. -- The Purdue University Northwest men's golf team travels to Owensboro, Kentucky as they compete in the Kentucky Wesleyan Panther Invitational on Sunday and Monday.

The Panther Invitational will take place at the Pearl Club in Owensboro, Kentucky. The Pearl Club is located 6501 Summit Dr, Owensboro, KY 42303

 

LAST TIME OUT
Senior Jacob Plummer (East Peoria, Ill./East Peoria Community) led the Pride on the second day after shooting a 74 which gave him a two-round score of 148 that landed him tied for 33rd place. Senior Chase Picken (Manito, Ill./Midwest Central) recorded a 147 during both rounds which led PNW for the invitational which was tied for 25th place.

Junior Brian Brzycki (Griffith, Ind./Griffith) finished next tied for 66th with his final round score of 77 which gave him a 154 for the invite. Senior Ryan Wells (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) ended up tying teammate Brzycki as he shot a 78 during the finale which gave him a 154 for both days.

Junior Payton Smith (Cedar Lake, Ind./Hanover Central) rounded out the scoring the Pride after shaving one stroke off his first round score to shoot a 76 which gave him a 155 for the event.
