Box Score 4 This weekend, Pride Volleyball traveled to Indianapolis to represent Purdue Northwest in the 2019 Midwest Regional Crossover, a tournament represented by teams from the GLIAC {Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference}, GLVC {Great Lakes Valley Conference}, and the G-MAC {Great Midwest Athletic Conference}. Purdue Northwest played four games over a span of two days, alongside 40 other NCAA Division II teams.

On Friday, the Pride played a 10 a.m. match against Lindenwood, and a late afternoon game against Maryville University, falling in three sets in both matchups. In game one,
Bryanna Moonen (Franklin, Wisc. /Franklin Highland) collected seven kills. In game two,
Annie Pulizos (Greendale, Wisc. /Greendale) and
Holly Faley (Marion, Iowa) both added four blocks to the scoresheet, while
Kenzie Duggan led the team with seven kills.

On Saturday, October 19, the Pride came out on top during their 9:00 a.m. game against the Alderson Broaddus University Battlers. The Pride were able to defeat the Battlers in three sets, 25-22, 25-22, 25-23.Â
Abby Negri (Crown Point, Ind./Crown Point) recorded 18 assists on the day, and
Danielle Fowler (Highland, Ind./ Highland) had 15 digs, while
Annie Pulizos led the team in kills with 17. The Pride outscored the Battlers 56-47 over three sets of play, as they bested their first team of the tournament. Game two did not go in PNW's favor, dropping the noon matchup to Southwest Baptist University 3-0.

After a long weekend of competition, the Pride return to the court in Hammond on Friday, October 25 against the Northern Michigan Wildcats. The match begins at 7:00 p.m. (CT).
