What's On Tap for PNW Athletics This Week!

PNW Athletics will be back in action with 17 competitions during the week of October 14 through October 20!
 
VOLLEYBALL
PNW vs Saint Xavier
The Pride return to their home court on Wednesday night, October 16, as they take on the Saint Xavier Cougars. This non-conference match begins at 7 p.m. (CT) in the FNRC in Hammond. PNW is 2-14 overall, seen last at Lake Superior State , falling 0-3 on October 12. The Cougars are 7-15, 5-5 in the CCAC, and play IU-South Bend on October 15 before heading to PNW.
 
PNW at GLIAC/GLVC/GMAC Conference Crossover
After Saint Xavier, PNW Volleyball's next four matches will be in Indianapolis for the GLIAC/GLVC/GMAC Conference Crossover tournament. Teams in this tournament, which is held October 17-19, include many familiar opponents from across the region. 
 
WOMEN'S SOCCER
PNW at Northwood
PNW Women's Soccer returns to the field on Friday, October 18, as they travel to Midland, Michigan to faceoff with the Northwood Timberwolves. The match is set to begins at 1:30 p.m. (CT). The Pride was last seen at Grand Valley State, in a 6-0 loss on October 13. The Timberwolves are 6-5 overall, 2-2 in GLIAC play, losing at Saginaw Valley State 2-0 on October 13.
 
PNW at Ferris State
The Pride will conclude their trip around the state of Michigan on Sunday, October 20, as they take on the Ferris State Bulldogs in Big Rapids, Michigan. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. (CT). The Bulldogs are 9-2-1 overall (3-1 in the GLIAC), and will be coming off their October 18 game against Wisconsin-Parkside. 
 
MEN'S SOCCER
PNW vs Wisconsin-Parkside
PNW Men's Soccer returns to Dowling Park on Friday, October 18, as they match up with the Wisconsin-Parkside Rangers. Kickoff will be at 2:30 p.m. (CT). Last time out, the Pride tied the Upper Iowa Peacocks 3-3 on October 12. Parkside is 6-4 overall, 5-1 in conference play, will be coming to Hammond after their October 14 road game at Davenport. 
 
PNW vs Northern Michigan
The Pride will complete their weekend at Dowling Park with a matchup against the Northern Michigan Wildcats. Kickoff will be at 11 a.m. (CT). The Wildcats are 3-8 overall, 2-5 in the GLIAC, and will be coming off their October 18 game at Upper Iowa.
  
WOMEN'S TENNIS
PNW at Michigan Tech
PNW Women's Tennis continues their late-season stretch of road matches in Houghton, Michigan, where they will match up with the Michigan Tech Huskies on Saturday, October 19. The matches begin at 9 a.m. (CT). The Pride last competed at Davenport, where they defeated the Panthers 5-2 on October 12. The Huskies are 5-2, seen last at Ferris State, collecting a 5-2 victory.  
 
PNW at Lake Superior State
The competitive weekend and regular season concludes in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, where PNW will take on the Lake Superior State Lakers. The match will begin at 9 a.m. (CT). The Lakers will be coming off their match against Davenport on October 19.
 
WOMEN'S GOLF
PNW at Davenport Invitational
Purdue Northwest Women's Golf will finish their fall season on Saturday and Sunday, October 19-20, as they head to Augusta, Michigan to compete in the Davenport Invitational. The women will tee off at 9 a.m. (CT) and are coming off their participation as host of the Mike Lalaeff Memorial Invitational in Crown Point, Ind. 
 
MEN'S GOLF
The Pride will finish their fall schedule on Saturday and Sunday, October 19-20, as they head to Augusta, Michigan to compete in the Davenport Invitational. The men will tee off at 9 a.m. (CT) and are coming off their first-place finish at the Mike Lalaeff Memorial Invitational in Crown Point, Ind. 
 
MEN'S ICE HOCKEY
PNW vs. Lewis
PNW Men's Ice Hockey returns to the ice for a couple of games at Kankakee Ice Arena. The Pride will be taking on the Lewis University Flyers on Friday and Saturday, October 18-19. Puck drop on Friday is set for 8:15 p.m. (CT) and 4 p.m. (CT) on Saturday. The Pride fell in their last game, 3-1, against the University of Akron Zips on October 12.
