H.D. Kesling Gymnasium

H.D. Kesling Gymnasium, located in the James B. Dworkin Student Services and Activities Complex on the Westville Campus, brings even more excitement to Pride athletics. Completed in Spring 2016, the 107,000-square foot facility features a gymnasium, a conference center, athletic offices, locker rooms, as well as a fitness center with cardio and weight equipment and indoor running track.

The $33 million dollar complex also accommodates student-life activities, service learning and leadership centers, wellness programs, and intramural and recreational programs.

Inside the H.D. Kesling Gymnasium, bleachers seat just over 1,500 for fans of the Pride men’s and women’s basketball and women’s volleyball teams, who play a portion of their home schedules at the SSAC.

The main basketball court can be divided into two separate courts through the use of a ceiling divider, and the gym can accommodate additional net sports such as volleyball and badminton.

Four-team locker rooms are located just outside the gym, and the building also features a game area, a student café, two large exercise rooms, and two public locker rooms. Moving into the conference center, the state-of-the-art space can accommodate large-scale events and features a full-service kitchen.
